I don't think I ever saw a picture done in this treatment before. Nonetheless this is truly a wonderful picture. Is this picture HDR?

@Bhavin: Thanks so much. Its not an HDR. It just has a bit of fill light added to it. If you are working in photoshop, it would be called Shadow/Highlight filter.
Awesome blue sky and the composition is great!
