@Denise: Wow, desise, thanks for the comments. I too am just an amateur photographer, so please do comment. As far as the vibrancy is concerned I process my photos in adobe lightroom. Its an organizer that has some basic photoshop features built in. I didn't bring that one into photoshop though. Basically I just turned up a feature called fill light which brightens the shadows. Then I brought up the vibrance slider to bring out the saturation. Thanks again for the compliments. I am going to check out your stuff now.
